![]() | Concord C1 - King Jewelers YouTube.com King Jewelers Introduces Concord's C1 Tourbillion Gravity With a limited edition of only 25 pieces, Concords C1 Tourbillon Gravity is quite possibly the most exclusive watch on the market today. Available at King Jewelers in Aventura, Florida, this Tourbillon ranks Concord more firmly than ever in the highest echelons of engineering expertise by affixing the Tourbillon mechanism vertically on the outside of the watch, an unprecedented move. Developed in partnership with BNB Concept and Blade Design, firms specialized in high-end niche watch creations, the Tourbillon Gravity sums up the very essence of Concords boldness and creative energy. This concept piece was conceived, elaborated and assembled in twelve months. CEO Vincent Perriard partnered with these two brands because of their extreme enthusiasm for Concord and their desire to propel Haute Horlogerie into the next generation. The result was an unexpected, daring and cutting design that put the Tourbillon alongside the body of the watch, thereby freeing up space in the case for many more complications. The Tourbillon, although seemingly disconnected from the movement and case, is actually connected to the rest of the mechanism by a perpendicular pinion. The upper and lower bridges of the Tourbillon carriage, as most of the movement bridges, are made from aluminum-lithium, an exceptional high-tech material that has proved its worth ion the aerospace industry. Anti-corrosive and anti-magnetic, this alloy features the best union of sturdiness and lightness. Because of its difficulty to manufacture and its extreme expense, it is rarely used in watch making. But the C1 Tourbillon Gravity is astounding in more than one way. A single glance is enough to identify it as a free spirit in the universe of Haute Horlogerie. Not just a Tourbillon disconnected from the case, it also has an unusual seconds indication, a flyback chronograph and a trust index display. This whole range of specific features symbolizes the audacity of a brand that reinvented itself just one year ago. ![]() | Jewelry Fort Worth TX Hardie's Jewelry Jewelry Fort Worth Diamonds Emerald Ruby's Sapphires Estate Jewelry Custom Design Appraisals Moissanite Gold Platinum Store http://www.thediamondtouch.com (817) 923-7401 Where value and beauty of handcrafted jewelry is never outdated! Hardie's Jewelry opened its doors for business in 1956 by its owner, Jess O. Hardie. Jess's interesting professional career began in 1940 as an apprentice jeweler and hand engraver at Haltom's Jewelry Store in downtown Fort Worth, Texas. Though his interest in the jewelry industry held his fascination, at age nineteen following the attack on Pearl Harbor, Jess could not resist the urge to join the military in support of his country. After a four year stint in the Army Air Corp he was drawn back into the industry and worked for other jewelers honing his skills until he started his own business in the established TCU area of Fort Worth. He owned and operated that business until 1983 at which time it was purchased by Mr. Dale Biester who had worked for Jess for twenty four years. The store located at 3500 Bluebonnet Circle still carries the name of Hardie's Jewelry. Dale's employment started with Hardies Jewelry in October, 1960, at the age sixteen as a watch repair apprentice. For twenty four years he worked closely and diligently under Jess's tutelage and it soon become apparent that he had attained for himself the distinction of being a master jeweler and designer of fine jewelry. As demands and technology continue to advance Hardies is committed to advance in these constantly changing areas. In March of 1989 Dale graduated from the Gemological Institute of America. Also in June 1993 Dale was awarded the very prestigious title of Certified Gemologist Appraiser from American Gem Society. Our newest acquisition is a micro-laser welder which all us to work with exotic and precious metals as never before. This piece of equipment with its state of the art properties has opened the door to exciting developments in the jewelry manufacturing and designing industry. |
