'Adrian Grenier' (born July 10, 1976) is an American actor, musician and director. Grenier is best known for his lead role on the HBO original series, ''Entourage'', as Vincent Chase.

Early Years

Grenier was born in New Mexico and, raised in Brooklyn, New York by his mother, Karesse Grenier, a real estate agent. ^[1] Grenier attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School and went to Bard College where he studied drama.

Career

In 1997, Grenier made his film debut in the independent drama ''Arresting Gena''. In 1999, he played opposite Melissa Joan Hart in ''Drive Me Crazy'', and in 2001, starred in James Toback's ''Harvard Man''. In 2002, Grenier made his directorial debut with the documentary, ''Shot in the Dark''. The documentary chronicles his years-long search for his real father, John Dunbar (no relation to the British artist, collector, and gallerist), who broke up with Grenier's mother when Adrian was still a baby. Grenier and Dunbar remained estranged for 18 years, and in 2001, Adrian began work on the documentary in an attempt to forge a relationship with Dunbar. The two eventually reunited and maintain a warm relationship.^[2] HBO premiered the documentary on June 3, 2007.
In 2004, Grenier landed the lead role in the HBO series ''Entourage'', which has brought him his most substantial notice and success. In 2006, he won a role in ''The Devil Wears Prada'', as Anne Hathaway's boyfriend, Nate.
In August of 2007, Adrian was reported to be working on a documentary which will chronicle the relationship between celebrities and the media.^[3]
In addition to being an actor and filmmaker, Grenier is also a musician, playing guitar, drums, french horn and the piano. He is a member of the New York band, The Honey Brothers.

Personal life

In July of 2007, it was reported that Grenier is dating Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, Melissa Keller. The couple have reportedly been dating on and off for two years.^[4]
In August of 2007, rumors of a relationship with socialite Paris Hilton started when the two were spotted together.^[5] Hilton's rep denies the reports and maintains that Adrian and Paris are just friends.^[6]
