CENTRAL PARK NORTH–110TH STREET (IRT LENOX AVENUE LINE)

(Redirected from 110th Street-Central Park North (IRT Lenox Avenue Line))

'Central Park North–110th Street' is a subway station on the IRT Lenox Avenue Line of the New York City Subway, located at the intersection of 110th Street and Lenox Avenue at the southern edge of Harlem.
This station is one of several along the Lenox Avenue Line that were fully renovated in 1998 to repair water damage. Like other stations along the line, it has extensive mosaics featuring Harlem history and famous African-Americans. There is an island platform with the fare control at the south end of the station at platform level. There is also a high-exit turnstile in the center.
The 1998 artwork here is ''Message from Malcolm'' by Maren Hassinger.
