SU (KANA)

(Redirected from )

'す', in hiragana, or 'ス' in katakana (IPA ), is one of the Japanese kana, which each represent one mora. The shapes of these kana come from '寸' and '須', respectively.
Also note that, as in the other -u kana, the 'u' sound is very subtle; unless well-articulated, this kana sounds fairly close to 's' alone.
