ÉCOLE NORMALE SUPéRIEURE LETTRES ET SCIENCES HUMAINES


The 'École Normale Supérieure Lettres et Sciences Humaines', or 'ENS-LSH', is an elite French ''grande école'' located in Lyon, in the district of Gerland, near the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon (Sciences). It was formerly located in Fontenay and Saint-Cloud, near Paris, and kown as "Fontenay-Saint-Cloud".

The two schools were located in Saint-Cloud and Fontenay-aux-Roses, near Paris. Firstly male students went to Saint-Cloud and female to Fontenay-aux Roses, but after 1981, the schools became mixed, scientific students went to Saint-Cloud and literary to Fontenay-aux-Roses. Then the schools both moved to Lyon in the frame of French decentralisation, Saint-Cloud in 1987 and Fontenay-aux-Roses in 2000.
